The kids are going out as Sam and Dean Winchester this year, so I made a replica of Dean’s amulet necklace (worn in seasons one to four of Supernatural)

You can purchase replicas but these are usually made of brass, and I didn’t want anything sharp or heavy for the little boy. I haven’t sculpted in polyclay before, it would be nice to get in some fine detail, but not bad for a few hours work!

PS, kids not impressed, they are used to elaborate costumes and stuff that lights up! haha. Now I have to work on painting the Colt and Ruby’s dagger props.

Oh that looks amazing! Sorry I have not been swinging by - I need to get up to date on the art, the costumes this year (Dean and Sam - very cool!) and the new job at the gallery and all the new things in your life :)

I would have liked more detailing, but oh well, maybe I'll make glow in the dark samulets in future. :D

I know you've been busy, I've been watching your lj, so I hope things work out soon.

I'm trying to get used to working out of the home again, sort of surprisingly tiring.

Haha, well that's okay, maybe them assuming I can make anything is good.
