When fic is better than the movie

Decided to watch Avengers, and about 1/3 through decided colouring my hair was more entertaining. It took too long for everyone to get together, then they just bitched at each other, there seemed to be no urgency and no real danger, Stark in this was an asshole, Thor uncharistmatic, ditto Nick Fury. I liked Cap, and would watch a film with Black Widow and Hawkeye. And I wanted Loki to win. He wasn't around chewing enough scenery either.

Yeah, isn't that a shame about the actor who plays Thor? Such an attractive pile of muscle, but I can't tell if he's a blah actor or just cursed with bad scripts.

I did like him in Thor, he was engaging, but here there just wasn't enough for him to do.
