I actually posted this to Facebook with the notation that I want it for my 50th birthday cake. Nine plus years is enough notice, don't you think?! My ex (who trained in pastry arts) commented and said it seemed manageable. Ha! We'll see... And FYI, I totally agree with your comment from Tumblr- red velvet cake all the way. :D
