Minnesota now the 12th state in the US to have marriage equality!
this after we shot down an amendment proposal to our state constitution to state marriage only between a man and a woman less than sixth months ago! A huge turn-around, and mostly because the majority of people who were just fine with marriage equality thank you very much, decided to stand up for what they believed, it also did not hurt that in the last elections, MN wised up and put in a democratic govener, 2 senators, and a house and senate that were majority dem.
