after checking out recent controversial videos like Blurred Lines, its good to take a look back - in this case 30 years - at how women were depicted, and yes, they are objectified, but note how the men are just as much eyecandy, shirtless and wearing makeup, and the women in DD videos always one-up the guys, they toy with them - the woman here may be akin to an animal, but so is the man, in ripped clothes and ersatz tribal markings, and look how the woman literally flips Simon onto his back into a submissive position. It’s a shame that 30 years later, we’ve gone backward in depictions of women in videos.
