The great light and inspiration of my life, who I was twice lucky enough to meet.
Good night, sweet prince, flights of angels sing thee to thy rest,
though I’m certain you’ll be kickin it with Richard Burton upstairs. *raises a glass*

Please tell about meeting him. I'd love to hear your story. I've several friends who met him through the years and each time they all came away with high regard for him.

I'd love to hear that story also!

I've seen several of his other films, notably Becket and Lion in Winter, but Lawrence was the first film I saw him in and I was awestruck. I lost count long ago of the number of times I watched it. Not such great history but a great film and a tremendous performance.

The thought of O'Toole hell raising with Richard Burton and Richard Harris is a bloody good one!
