Wow, Jenny Klein sucks

not only do we have woe between the brothers, their stand ins Harry and Ed (the Ghostfacers from season one) have to go through the same angst, so we learn nothing, there is nothing Supernatural, and we've blown another hour. Real disapointment for this GF fan. And next ep looks like more 'funny' filler, and no Castiel. I'm washing my hands of this season and hoping for the crappy writers to jettison to the weak spinoff, maybe we can get Ben Edlund back and I can hope for a good season ten.

She's one of the few female writers on the ground, too, so it's doubly disappointing. I'm starting to wonder, though, if good writers' attempts are actually dumbed down by Carver/other writers/executives on this show. Maybe that's why Ben didn't mind taking off?

Has she written any other episodes?

I think Ben left because he had an opportunity to work with a show with a bigger budget, and maybe he didn't care for where SPN was going to go, I don't begrudge Ben the opportunity, cos we all want new challenges. But the showrunning from Carver has sucked, I really do think the issue has been everyone on show is working on their Tribes spin-off, and they think Spn can just run on fumes. Jenny Klein used to be Eric Kripke's assistant and wrote a few SPN books, Bob Singer's wife writes for the show, show doesn't seem to want to spend money on good writers.

Jenny wrote a few eps, and they were all tissue-thin and riffs from previous eps, her last ep was the roman goddess Vesta an incongruous and offensive (for the woman) scene between Dean and the ex-porn star,
