I couldn't tell you exactly when this song worked its way into my system (I've never even seen Despicable Me), but I can tell you how. It's fun, and catchy as hell. If I'm in a bad mood, this song will at least make me smile; if I'm in a good mood, this song will have me ready to dance.
It kind of reminds me of Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Be Happy," in the sense that it's such a easy, feelgood song that people of all ages and races become familiar with it and grow to like it. It just kind of gets in your system, you know?
