So, I got a new sheet set, and I sleep European style, that is, I have a fitted sheet and a duvet cover, I don't use the flat sheet that comes with the set, the material is too sheer for curtains, so I decided to make the flat sheet into a fitted one I will actually use!

here is a good tutorial

Flat sheets are only in hospitals and hotels, so for me I can never feel at home in a bed made that way.

That's an interesting tutorial, definitely if I could not find fitted sheets then I'd definitely have to try and make them!

here when you purchase sheets they come in sets, so you get a pair, one fitted, one flat, you can't just get a fitted sheet!

I have both - having been in the military and instructed in the joys of making of hospital corners having a nice tight sheet that doesn't get rucked up is wonderful (I tend to be a restless sleeper). But a fitted sheet is so easy when it comes to making the bed!
