I've only had time to watch part one of the pilot, and I'm already hooked!

My husband is upset because one of the things he loved about the Capt. America movie is that while Peggy had to deal with a little sexism, she was basically treated as an equal among her military peers, and now she's being treated like some mindless window decoration. But one of the things I love about the show is how she's either circumventing that or using it to her advantage. Whatever it takes to complete the mission! :) Besides, I have to believe this is the story of her working her way up the ladder again until there's damned good reason why hers is one of the photographs on the Founders of SHIELD wall from the Winter Soldier movie.

It looks like it's going to be a character journey for Howard Stark, too. Good. I'd like to see that, and maybe see how Jarvis came to mean so much to Tony that his memory has been forever preserved.

But in the Cap movies Peggy was still treated like crap, she had to punch out Hodges, and the Gen played by Tommy Lee Jones said that Peggy helped Cap because she had a 'crush' on him, not because she had 'faith' in his abilities.

I mean, her being treated badly is real, the guys she works with didn't know what she did, they assume that she's only got her place because of being 'Cap's girlfriend' and implied 'sleeping around'

I do love that she uses it to her advantage, I'm just afraid that the agent with the bad leg is the sleeper agent, wouldn't that be a twist, but he's the only one noticing Peggy's skills, and he would have had time with the photos to take out any that implicated Peggy.

This is her story outside of the short produced by Marvel to sell the Agent Carter tv show, this is before Howard gets her out of the SSR to create SHIELD, which would probably be in a season two, if they decide to make it.

Yeah, Jarvis raised Tony, and it's too bad we know that Howards going to grow up to be a sucky parent to Tony. I will be over the moon if we get to see baby Tony at some point.

I love the attention to detail and the great production values, some of Hayley Atwells clothing is true vintage, so 70 years old.
