FIGHT FOR YOUR CAPTAIN
one trashy comic arc cannot destroy a character who’s been built up over 75 years, continue to blog, write to Marvel, write to Disney, think up a campaign, but I’m not going to be made guilty for wearing a Shield backpack.
CAP IS NOT HYDRA, he belongs to US and you ARE NOT TAKING HIM AWAY!

I can only be glad that not many people read comics, the amount is about 3million and hasn't changed in decades, and far more people know and associate the symbol with the movie verse.
I'm just so peeved that Marvel's way of getting attention (and on the day the new DC stuff came out) was to make 'Cap Evil Nazi' it's such a cheap tawdry stunt, and very offensive to most fans, particularly Jewish fans. In these times we need Cap as a symbol of freedom and tolerance, not making him into a mouthpiece for right wing racists.

I did not know the entirety of the issue so the Nazi part of it was not known to me.
It seems especially egregious in timing since we are approaching Memorial Day.
I will be honest with you and say that I do not have much personally invested in this character or the films but I will most definitely write and protest on behalf of your lovely son.
