What are the talking points created by heath insurance pr departments given to lobbyists and handed over to conservatives?
Listen to this broadcast by Minnesota Public Radio, guest was a Cigna Insurance PR department head who visited a fairground where he saw hundreds of people being herded into barns to get free heath care, and realized that these were some of the 51 million Americans who go un-insured or under-insured, not because they are not able to pay for care, but are not lucky enough to work for a company that provides health care benefits, or because they have pre-existing conditions.
http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2011/01/19/midmorning1/Heathcare in the US is not a system, it now only a few major insurance corporations, who are beholden to SHAREHOLDERS, not the public, not concepts of ethics. Decisions to not cover procedures are arbitrialy decided, not by doctors, but by corporate departments, and none of these can be held accountable - as politicians would be.
