Outside. Good day to stay indoors. Paid bills, and while that is satisfying, not much overs, I wanted to get SHERLOCK DVD, oh well. Son had broken zipper on parka so had to put him in a bright purple one, but he didn't mind, not as warm though, and school doesn't send home his gloves.

I might sit down and do taxes today, maybe update journal layout in my lame way?

Thanks for love on Sherlock pic, have a vague-ish idea for Valentines.

Was fun chatting on IM last night, I have to remember to pause.

THURSDAY its THURSDAY.

Have a good one.
My friend was posting about songs that become 'your song' and that could be for yourself or you as part of a couple, this is the spouse's and my song. Why is it so important when you are just getting to know someone that they like some (I say some) of the same kind of music? For some reason, and I can remember exactly when, I asked him if he'd ever heard of the NZ band Crowded House and he said 'yeah!' with a smile, well, you know the rest.

Come on John, get out in that kitchen and rattle them pots and pans.

Interesting thing about the SHERLOCK DVD, you get to see one of the most expensive pilots ever produced for the BBC - that was never shown. After the pilot of SHERLOCK, they revamped the character of the detective, made him edgier, anti-social, gave him a wardrobe of bespoke clothing, coloured his hair dark, recreated the set of 221B - and it is a much better production for it.

However, anytime Pilot Sherlock wants to give Series Sherlock his jeans, no fan will complain.

kid: I would not want Sherlock for a parent. I would like him as my science teacher!

Me: Ha, he would blow up the schoolroom, he'd EXPERIMENT on all of you.

kid: Okay, well, I wouldn't want him as a babysitter either.

Me: Then, what would you want to do with Sherlock?

kid: He can be my friend, he does such interesting things, and he's not bored - unless there isn't a crime to solve, then look out!

Me: Like you guys in the summer.

kid: At least we don't shoot the walls.

I have some requests for Origami Master merch as well as a LOT for my Sherlock with Pipe Japan image merch, posters, prints, mousepads, even shirts, so have any of you used services to produce these?

Years ago I tried Cafe Press, but I was not too happy with quality.
