Date: 2012-02-14 10:27 pm (UTC)It's the writing that will be key to a show, and thing is, it's only a pilot that we might never see if the show isn't picked up by CBS.
They should do something about the inspid title 'Elementary' though.

Date: 2012-02-15 02:37 am (UTC)So CBS decided to hire a production company to do a modern version of Sherlock Holmes in New York, but Hartswood is watching, and if they feel that this new show will infringe on their intellectual property, they'll sue.
Plenty of pilots for shows are made every year, not all of them get picked up to be shown on networks.

If they can make it unique enough, they may do OK, but..... Man, how are they going to even compete with the brilliant Hartswood Films version?
But I am curious about the pilot now. LOL
