Do you think women are more attracted to the sci-fi/fantasy genre than men and why?

I don't know, just cos I've always known more women who are into that men.

can't speak for others but my husband certainly isn't into genres...OTH, my brothers don't have problems with horror and SPN. (i personally am not a sci-fi/fantasy person and consider SPN more on the "paranormal/horror" side...i was a huge x-file fan and consider that in the same catergory,,,that is, except for the whole alien thing, which i didn't enjoy at all probably because that crossed into sci-fi.)
