are the WB seriously doing C and D's? That does suck. As did the 'fan contest' shirts that were only sold for a day each. They really owe everything to the fan base, and seem to not know how to connect with them.

I don't know a damned thing about downloading (except how else are fans in England going to see the show as it airs now?), but the part about the artist getting slammed was what got me. I think that just because the WB is just waking up and realizing they've missed out on nine years of merchandising revenue doesn't mean they should now slam the people who made that money instead.

Ah the issue here isn't the CW or WB at all, it's a particularly German thing where a company can say 'you have to pay us $20' or we may take you to court, it's basically a scam, people who don't know their rights are paying, when really they don't have to.

Same with the fanart, the person was specifically using Supernatural in the title to promote it and WB said stop, they didn't actually say not to sell the work.
